The 2nd Annual Mayor's Small Business Awards sponsored by Comcast Business Class, will take place on Friday, May 25th from 7:30-9:00am at the NHIOP at Saint Anselm College. The Mayor's Small Business Awards are the capstone event for Manchester Small Business Week which runs from May 21st-May 25th and features a series of programs and events aimed at helping our small business community grow and thrive. Study: Manchester Ideal for Medical Manufacturing. A New Jersey site selection firm ranked the Manchester, NH area as the ideal location for Medical Manufacturing companies. The firm cited Manchester's low tax rate, educated population and close proximetly to Canada and the Boston area as reasons for the high ranking. The study included 55 cities throughout New England.
